A hundred businessmen from the Pyrenees come together to demand compensation from the DGA for the losses of the snow campaign

Those affected will claim compensation for the consequences of mobility restrictions and for staying out of the summoned aid. A hundred self-employed and small entrepreneurs in the Pyrenees linked to the snow sector (hotels, restaurants, shops, ski schools ...) have come together to demand financial compensation from the Government of Aragon for the losses derived from the "constant mistreatment" that claim to have suffered with the restrictions agreed during the pandemic, which "have drowned" many businesses in these areas and which they call "not very successful and the result of a generalist solution and insensitive to the reality of the social, territorial and economic particularities of their valleys ". Those affected, who will channel their claims through the Dorinda Aventín and Albert Panabera law firm (one of the several law firms that during these months have offered themselves to the Pyrenees tourist associations to take action), are also considered aggrieved by the aid agreed after the continuous protests carried out. And it is that the Pyrenean businessmen have already denounced that by not counting the first quarter of this 2021, they can be left out of both state and regional aid.
