Appointment of José Pajares by the UIA

Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner of CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO ABOGADOS in Zaragoza, has been reappointed by the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) as its Representative to Working Group V (Insolvency Law) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Previously, from 2008 to 2012, he served as Chairman of the UIA's Insolvency Committee.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Insolvency Commission and subsequently as representative of the International Union of Lawyers, he has actively participated in the UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW (UNCITRAL), WORKING GROUP V, INSOLVENCY REGIME, in Vienna from November 17 to 21, 2008; and in New York from May 18 to 22, 2009, from April 19 to 23, 2010, from April 21 to 25, 2014, from May 26 to 29, 2015, from May 2 to 6, 2016, from May 10 to 19, 2017, from May 4 to 7, 2021, from April 18 to 21, 2022, from April 17 to 20, 2023, from May 13 to 17, 2024 and between May 12 and 16, 2025.
