José Pajares, Deputy Director of International Relations at the UIA

During the Steering Committee of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) held in Paris (France), the appointments and renewals of the mandates of the Deputies of the Steering Committee of the UIA were approved.

Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner in Zaragoza of CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO ABOGADOS, was appointed Deputy Director in International Relations.

The main objective of the Deputy Director is to provide support to his Director by performing functions delegated by his Director, monitoring the delegated tasks and offering advice, attending meetings of the Steering Committee and meetings of the Presidency Council.

“The Steering Committee is the executive body of the UIA. It ensures the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the General Assembly and the Presidency Council, as well as the proper functioning of the association. The General Assembly elects the Steering Committee.”
