Miami Becomes the Global Epicenter of Insolvency Law with the XXII International Congress of the IIDC
Miami, Florida, will host the XXII International Congress of the Ibero-American Institute of Insolvency Law (IIDC) on September 9, 10, and 11, under the title "An International Forum of Excellence on Insolvency, Restructuring, and Cross-Border Cooperation."
The event will feature an outstanding academic program and the participation of leading specialists from Latin America, the United States, and other jurisdictions. Over the three days, highly topical issues in insolvency, restructuring, and cross-border cooperation will be addressed.
Prominent Participation of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo
This prestigious event will bring together leading global experts in the field, including José Pajares, Director of the Restructuring and Insolvency Law Department at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados, who currently represents the IIDC in Working Group V (Insolvency Law) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
José Pajares will participate on Thursday, September 10, in Panel 8, a session dedicated to analyzing “Insolvency Reintegration from a Comparative Perspective,” where he will share the stage with other industry leaders to discuss the differences and commonalities between various international legal frameworks.
