Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner of the Zaragoza office, will lead a session for the international course focusing on European Union Directives and Crisis Law.

Through its Zaragoza Managing Partner, Mr. José Pajares, Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo is strengthening its teaching role in the prestigious international "Postgraduate Course on Crisis Law."
This high-level academic program is jointly organized by the National University of Córdoba (UNC) in Argentina and the University of Bologna (UNIBO) in Italy.

The program, designed to analyze insolvency and corporate restructuring from a comparative perspective, runs from June to November and comprises a total of 48 academic hours.
In this context, Mr. José Pajares will deliver his upcoming lecture on Thursday, September 26, 2026, at 2:30 PM (Argentina time). The academic session is titled "2019 and 2026 EU Directives: Pre-packs."

During his presentation, the firm's Managing Partner will examine—from the perspective of Spanish law—how European regulations have been implemented, how financial distress is currently conceptualized, and the challenges involved in aligning national insolvency law with the guidelines set out in EU directives.
